1. Eligibility

2.1 createresume.ca provides tools and resources to help you create customized resumes (“Services”).

2.2 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our Services or the Platform at any time without prior notice or liability to you.

3. User Account

3.1 Account Creation: In order to use certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep this information up to date.

3.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to, or use of, your account.

3.3 Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms or if we otherwise believe that suspension or termination is in the best interests of the Platform or other users.

4. User Conduct

4.1 Lawful Use: You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, provincial, federal, and international laws and regulations.

4.2 Prohibited Content: You agree not to post, upload, or transmit through the Platform any content that:

• violates any third party’s intellectual property or other proprietary rights;
• contains any viruses, malware, or other harmful code intended to damage or interfere with the functioning of the Platform or any user’s device.

5.2 License to Us: By posting or uploading User-Generated Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content in connection with providing and improving the Platform.

5.3 Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User-Generated Content. You represent and warrant that your User-Generated Content does not violate any rights of third parties or any applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Platform Content: The Platform and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws.

11.1 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless createresume.ca, its owner(s), and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• your access to or use of the Platform;
• your violation of any of these Terms;
• your violation of any rights of a third party; or
• your User-Generated Content.
